Congratulations for a successful launch of 350 Massachusetts! It was amazing to have over 100 organizers from around the state come and share their thoughts and ideas, and to hear from 350.org’s US Campaign Director, Phil Aroneanu. It’s heartening to know what a great network of concerned folks are out there, ready to take on climate change. We will need every one of us to return to 350ppm.
We’ll soon be posting information here and in email about the August 4th New England Action to End Fossil Fuel Subsidies – stay tuned!
Some emerging 350MA campaigns:
- End Fossil-Fuel Subsidies
There is momentum in our existing network to campaign to end federal fossil-fuel subsidies, in line with the national 350.org “End polluter welfare” campaign. Click here to sign the Climate Summer petition.
- Tar Sands Free New England
Preventing the use of an existing New England pipeline to carry Canadian tar sands from Quebec to Portland, ME through collaboration of the 350 New England network.
- No More Fracked Gas to Massachusetts
Preventing the widening of an existing pipeline that carries natural gas extracted by hydraulic fracturing to New England.
